Automation as a driver for growth

Breman is a family business with over 1,600 installation experts and 26 branches building a future full of sustainable, technical installations. They aim at ‘Everyone energy positive’, meaning they give back more energy to employees, clients and the earth than it costs to ensure a better living and working climate. For themselves but also for future generations.
They are fully committed to energy transition and offer sustainable solutions. They install central heating boilers, heat pumps, solar panels, ventilation systems, smart thermostats and more. This makes them the one-stop shop for making a home more sustainable. They also provide service and maintenance.

The Challenge

Before working with Sollit, Breman experienced inefficiencies in their sales and quotation process. The team noticed that they were bogged down in time-consuming administrative tasks, such as following up on leads, preparing quotations manually and updating status changes. Quotations they prepared manually, which quickly took an hour and a half per home survey and quotation.
This made it clear that a traditional way of working was no longer enough in a rapidly changing market. With the increasing demand for sustainable energy solutions and the broadening of their product range to include heat pumps and solar panels, the pressure on internal processes grew.
The demand for digitising and automating processes was growing. Especially because of the company’s increasing growth. They needed a solution that would not only streamline their processes but also enable them to grow at scale, without compromising on quality or customer satisfaction.

The Solution

8 years ago, Breman came into contact with Sollit and quickly discovered the platform’s extensive knowledge of automation, versatility in product groups and customisation options, upon which it started a partnership.

Ricardo van Dijk, branch director of Breman Warmteadvies: “While we initially considered an alternative solution, we found that Sollit’s functionality, customised set-up and personal contact was exactly what we were looking for, which was ultimately the deciding factor. The Sollit platform allowed us to automate and speed up our complex quotation and inspection process. Whereas preparing a quotation used to take us an hour to an hour and a half, we can now prepare multiple quotations from different disciplines at the same time.”

The time for administrative tasks was also significantly reduced, allowing the team to focus more on customer relations and healthy growth.

Automation as a driver for growth

Breman faced the challenge of optimising their business processes in a market that is constantly changing and increasingly focused on speed and efficiency. With Sollit’s Automations feature, they turned this challenge into an opportunity for growth. Van Dijk: “All salespeople within Breman started working with tablets and started using the Sollit App, the website and various lead partners were linked to Sollit through APIs. This is how we moved to a fully digital sales process.”

By automating routine tasks, such as following up leads, sending quotes, and communicating with customers, Breman was able to save considerable time. This enabled them to pay more attention to new customers and maximise sales opportunities, leading to higher conversion rates and faster processing times.

Automatic follow-up of leads and status updates ensured that nothing fell between the cracks, allowing Breman to further strengthen their customer relationships. In addition, cross-selling automation allowed them to automatically generate new requests for additional products, which contributed to increased sales. Thanks to this strategic use of automation, Breman not only streamlined their internal processes but also strengthened their competitive position in the preservation market.

The results

Since implementing Sollit, Breman has made great strides in terms of efficiency, productivity and automation.

  • The time needed to prepare quotations has been reduced by 70%, saving a lot of time
  • As a result, the conversion rate of central heating boilers has been increased to 50-60%.
  • Furthermore, the ability to sign digitally is a huge added value for Breman, but also for their customers, especially when it comes to the emergency installation of central heating boilers. Thanks to Sollit’s scalable solutions, the company can respond to this quickly.

The future

With the ongoing support and development of Sollit, Breman continues to lead the way in making homes and utility buildings more sustainable. Their partnership with Sollit is an inspiring example of how innovation and customisation can lead to significant business improvements. Breman continues to invest in sustainable technologies and sees in Sollit a reliable and solid partner to help them achieve their goals.
