Who are you?
I am Joyce, 21 years old and I was born and raised in Apeldoorn. In my free time I like to relax with a good book. I like to fill my weekends with concerts, trips and listening to alternative music. For an extra challenge, I enjoy designing and printing my own 3D models. From functional to decorative objects, I enjoy doing it all.
What is your position at Sollit?
I am a Customer Support Professional. My job involves contacting customers to discuss and resolve their questions or problems about the system. This means that I actively listen to their concerns, understand the challenges they face on a daily basis and provide customized solutions to resolve their issues.
The range of issues I help with is quite broad; it can be as simple as guiding customers through the steps for editing a document template or addressing more complex, deeper issues that require reporting issues and bugs to our developers. We are also constantly working to optimize systems based on customer feedback. My goal is to make sure every customer feels supported and empowered to use the system to its fullest potential.
You are new to the company. What are your first impressions?
I have been working at Sollit since September 1, 2024. It was a breath of fresh air to come here. Everyone is so professional, but also so warm and welcoming. The induction period was great. There was so much information and help that it felt like everything you might need was there.
The help didn't stop with the familiarization, either. Even now, everyone is so willing to help. The close cooperation between the departments is easy and facilitated by the contact we have with each other. At lunch, most colleagues eat together and laugh together.
What do you like most about Sollit?
The challenges, colleagues and customers make my day. The contact with clients is always so fun and refreshing. Every phone call and email brings new challenges. Every customer is a learning opportunity because the system is slightly different for everyone. It's absolutely amazing. The fun events with colleagues are also a highlight. You get to spend extra time with great people and build meaningful contacts.
Do you have any fun anecdotes you'd like to share?
From the beginning, we experienced countless great moments as a team. Our company BBQ was a wonderful gathering and sharing drinks with everyone every Friday afternoon feels like a tradition. Truly, every day here is filled with joy and unforgettable experiences.
What does "being entrepreneurial" mean to you?
It means being unique, taking risks, being reliable and pushing the limits. When we started, our uniqueness set us apart and I admire how we have kept that spirit alive over the years. Every day we take bold steps and challenge ourselves to redefine reliability as we strive to be the best possible software provider.
For me personally, this means pushing myself further in my knowledge, going the extra mile for customers and using my creativity to solve problems.
